- Cleaning shall be in accordance with SSPC-SP6/NACE 3 Commercial Blast Cleaning to remove existing coating and provide a 2.0 mil anchor profile.
- Inspection and remedying of any walkway drainage problems.
- Containment of paint removal debris.
- Application of paint system.
- Protect existing cables and antennas.
- Construction storage and cleanup.
- East Carolina Broadband equipment (antennas and cables) to be removed by ECB prior to cleaning and re-painting the tank.

- A new influent/return sludge pump station, mechanical barscreen with manual bypass barscreen, manual grit removal structure, new oxidation ditch, new secondary clarifier, renovation of the existing secondary clarifier, new dual cell tertiary filter, yard piping, electrical work including standby power generator, chlorination-dechlorination building, new operations/lab building, and site work.
- Demolition of the following items: existing manhole No. 200048, existing influent pump station, existing grit chamber, existing influent box, existing distribution box, existing manhole No. 1, existing electrical hut and standby generator, existing control building, and existing filters.

2024 ARPA Water Systems Improvements Contract No. 22 - Well House Renovation

DEMOLITION OF EXISTING WELL HOUSE to include, but not limited to:
- Break and remove existing pavement
- Remove designated building equipment and structures
- Demolish designated structures
- Remove foundation and slabs
- Remove underground tanks, piping, and other items encountered
- Disconnect and remove all existing electrical hardware
- Disconnect, cap, and remove all utilities to include storm drainage as shown on the PLANS provided utility or storm drain does not service adjacent facilities. Permanently mark the terminus of each
- Brace, support, and protect any attached or adjacent structures not to be demolished
- Remove dispose of material to a site provided by the CONTRACTOR
- Provide BORROW, backfill, and compaction typing to existing contous and crowning to establish positive drainage on site

- Provide and place topsoil, fine grading, seed and mulch
- OTHER WORK as shown in the PLANS as specified herein for a complete and satisfactory demolition of designated structures
